”My little dog – a heartbeat at my feet.” Edith Wharton

Have you ever thought about the approximately 300,000 street dogs in Romania? Have you ever thought of puppies or cats being snatched relentlessly from their mother and thrown into bags and sacks? Have you ever seen puppies by the road? Have you done anything about it?

We are not pointing fingers, we want to draw attention to a worrying phenomenon of great proportions in our country: the abandonment of dogs, cats or other animals. Many souls are left to die on the fields, on the roadside or are simply thrown into community pits. Most of the time because people cannot or do not want to take care of them. A puppy left in the street can become a public danger because of a possible disease and uncontrolled reproduction.

Surely you have felt the love of a puppy, you have seen his Welsh gaze, full of infinite joy when playing with him. Dogs really are a blessing to many of us, making us happier and they are close when we feel sad. Taking them to our homes, they become part of our family and benefit from healthy food and a safe environment. We believe that animals, like humans, are entitled to a safe life.
